More Winnings

Yesterday I got coupons in the mail for more free Pace salsa and M & M's. Today I got an email from Dole that I'd won a $25 gift card to Bed, Bath and Beyond! Whoo hoo!

I Love Mail!!!

I am one of those people, that despite the possibility of receiving a bill, gets highly depressed if I go to my mailbox to find it empty. I'm like Charlie Brown when he doesn't get a Valentine. I think the least somebody could do is send me some junk mail. So you can only imagine my excitement when I came home from a long weekend visiting my parents with my daughter, to find that not only did I have mail, but I had packages. Some of the prizes I'd won in May and June are starting to arrive. I've received my Bolle sunglasses from Miller,



a candy dispenser from Jelly Belly



and today I got my sunchaser kit (koozies, bottle opener, chapstick) from Miller.



Whoo Hoo! I'm ecstatic! And yesterday I won $20 from Coca Cola. I can't wait to check the mail tomorrow.

No sweeping=No winning

I think I am proving the theory that you have to play to win. I'm totally off schedule and have played very little the last couple of weeks. Needless to say, I haven't won much. I did add another jar of Pace Salsa to my collection just before that instant win game ended. Now they are doing another IWG, but no money is involved. Just coupons for salsa. But still, free is free, right?

Successful Sweeping

I am just exhausted! Sweeping is like having a second job. :) I spend at least an hour a day playing Instant Win games (my fave--I like the rush of instant gratification) and entering sweepstakes. Thank goodness for Roboform! That saves so much time. If you are starting in the sweepstakes game, you definitely should download that program. It is free. I have won two more coupons for free Pace picante sauce and won $5 two more times from Honey Nut Cheerios since I last reported my winnings. I'm still waiting for that big win!

Slowing Down

A lot of the instant win games that I was having good success with have now ended, but I have won $10 from the Honey Nut Cheerios game and a coupon for free Pace picante sauce in the last week so I'm still on a streak, I guess. Sweeping is fun and keeps me out of trouble for the time being. :)

On a Roll Again?

I won 3, count 'em, 3 instant win games this morning. And I do mean "morning"--like between 3 and 4 AM this morning. That was a ridiculous time for me to be awake since I am sleep deprived already, but I decided that since I was up, I may as well try a few games. I won another $20 gift card from Coke (which is really $25) bringing my grand total so far to $100! I also won free movie tickets from Coke. And for the first time, I won something in the Hershey's Rock your Block contest. I got a free Rascal Flatts song download. Not too shabby, eh?

Source of income?

I won another $20 gift card from the Coke instant win game yesterday. What is really cool is that they actually put $25 on the card. My total money winnings to date is now $75. I've read that some people use sweeping as a means of supplementing their income. I'd love it if I could win enough for that to be a viable option. I mean, $75 is great for grocery money or other necessities, but it's hardly a living. It will come in very handy, though.

It would be nice to win a TV, also. Mine is about to bite the dust, I think, from the cracking and the popping noises it makes sometimes. I hope it doesn't blow up!

Today, I finally unpacked the sewing machine that I bought for myself a couple of weeks ago. A friend gave me a Target gift card for my birthday, so I used it to get the sewing machine. Now, if I can just remember how to thread it.... It comes with a manual, but reading it would take away the challenge, wouldn't it?

I haven't done any sewing in about 12 years, but I'm hoping the hang of it will come back to me. I want to make baby girl some cool Halloween and dress up costumes.

Blue, blue, blue

My winning streak has come to an end. Nothing since Sunday. I couldn't even win toiler paper! I'm so bummed. I have to say that the Instant Win games are pretty addictive. I guess it's the instant gratification--heady stuff!

Baby girl was up most of the night coughing. She has asthma so I was pretty worried and took her to the doctor this morning, but her lungs are clear. Her sinuses are draining, poor dear. The pollen around here has been crazy.
